Where Were You

Where were you

When I started to grow

Where were you

When my puberty started to show

Where were you

When my mind was confused

Where were you

When I was being misused

Where were you

To teach me what I should know

Where were you

When I needed strength to grow

Mother

Where were you

Will He

I lay in bed often wondering

When he does come how will he be

Will he be mean or nice?

Will he be empty or love me passionately

Will he put up with my faults?

And laugh at my cute unique ways

Will he dislike my cute unique ways?

Will he cherish me all of our days?

Will he hold me in his arms?

Or will he not be affectionate

Will he listen to my voice?

And will he treat me delicate

Will he make up a cute name for me?

Like poky boo-boo or angel of mine

Will he be there to always protect me?

I often wonder in my bed as I pass time

Word Play Free Verse (I like to play with words sometimes)

I walk into the room moonlight glistens on my face

You are lying in the bed watching me undress

I slowly and seductively slip off my robe

The excitement you cannot suppress

I walk over to the bed and lean over you temptingly

You reach up your hands to make contact with my skin

I grab them and interlock our fingers then lay them down

Then the moment you’ve been waiting for starts to begin

The rest will be written with my future husband

You My Love

You my love are like poetry in motion

You glide along

With charm and benevolence

When you pass by you strike a heart’s chord

I hear songs of love playing in my head

You’ve mastered the technique of seduction

Yes you do have my heart watering

I stare when you enter the room

Your presence demands responsiveness

Oh my love I wait for the day

When you will whisk me away

In your strong arms of comfort

Where I will dissipate in your arms

And you will proclaim your love for me

And it will echo throughout the world

And then we will flee so unreservedly

To our own planet of fervidness

Your Way

Imaginations swiftly cross the threshold of my mind

I am incessantly consumed with thoughts of you

The way you smile at me in the morning

When you awake to see me watch you sleep

The way you whisper so sweetly in sincerely in my ear

To tell me how much you love and cherish me

The way you hold me when my heart is torn

And you are there to mend it again

The way you stand up when trouble arise

A real man you are in my eyes

The way you caress me oh so gently

As we melt into each other’s soul

The way of your stature and demeanor

Built as a strong man just for me

That emanates masculinity that I find irresistible

The way you changed your life to fit me into it

The day you said I do from your heart

And meant every word

I’ll always and forever be in love with you

Hurricane Mellow

You blew in like the north wind

And whooshed me off my feet

Twisted me up in your arms like a cyclone

Your storm of love brings me heat

Rain down on me like a monsoon of passion

I’ll consume you like a tempest of fire

And shake your very core like an earthquake

We’ll become wrapped up in a whirlwind of desire

I’ll downpour into your being like a blizzard

Blast through me like a gale

Submission is inevitable

My attempts will not fail

We’ll outbreak into ecstasy

And explode like a volcano

Then drizzle down like dew

To set like the moon’s glow
