I’ve lost time staring in your eyes

I don’t know what is so alluring

Magnetically pulling, forcing me

From my life’s quest detouring

Your soul flows through your poetry

I’m digging your lyrical essence

Your words are entombing me

I’m dying to be in your presence

Keep finessing me with your rhymes

Keep compelling me to your being

I fight it but I’m slowly being consumed

By what you’re doing I’m seeing

If your words are able to move me like this

I faint at the thought of being in your arms

Listening to you whisper your words in my ear

Inside of my body raising ferocious storms

Mmm mmm Your words touch my body

They move through my nerves

They send my senses in overdrive

They curl around my curves

I start shaking…holding my chest

I get flushed…fanning my face

I feel this..this volcanic heat through my being

All I want is to be in your embrace

On my neck

Your sexy lips

On my ears

Your big fingers

Wiping my tears

Next to mine

Your fingers trailing

Down my spine

Your slow stroke

While making love

Your eyes staring

At me from above

Lover’s Song

 

Take my hand lover of mine

Lead me to ecstasy land

Where I can get lost in you

And our souls can intertwine

The butterflies I feel

Are bursting through my heart

As you whisper gently in my ear

Our souls will never part

Rub my back with your

Strong yet tender hand

Kiss my neck

Let our love expand

I want to fall into you

And just let myself drown

Your kiss, your touch

This high I never want to come down

Wrap your strong arms around me

Warm the depths of my soul

Run your fingers down my neck

Send a chill down my spine so cold

You ignite in me a wildfire

That burns endlessly

Only you can quench it

As i stare in your eyes
The tears swell up in mine
As i fully come to realize
That it will soon be your time
I hold you oh so close
So you can hear my heartbeat
So you can come to know me
And know that my love for you is concrete
I watch you sleep in your crib
As you lay so sweet and innocent
My heart starts breaking
Knowing how soon your mind will be bent
I watch you as you grow

Light gleaming off my caramel skin

Desire tearing at my insides

Waiting for our journey to begin

Rolling on mountains

Kissing in oceans

Caressing in canyons

Drowning in emotions

Draining the atmosphere of all its air

Defying gravity floating away

Two bodies two hearts click

Behind these eyes is things I never speak

Pain from all the stigma on me

Hurt from all the stereotypes put on me

Anguish from all the mistreatment of me

Behind these eyes is something you don’t expect

I am a human I do have a soul

Why is every move I make scrutinized?

Why is everybody so cold?

Behind these eyes is a soul crying out

Who can I turn to when no one likes me?

What have I done to deserve this much hate?

I just got here. Why does everyone dislikes me?

Behind these eyes is a heart of love

Even though I am abused I still love

Even though I am misused I still love

Even though I am not loved I still love

Behind these eyes is a strength

To be able to carry on in this placed on shame

To be able to go on knowing all the lies

To be able to smile with a slandered name

Behind these eyes is a broken spirit

Tired of the world weighing down on me

Tired of seeing black women this all over

Tired of everyone looking down on me

Behind these eyes is a person

Not an animal or subhuman

But a girl, woman, lady, sister, mother

So much more than what people are assuming

Behind these eyes I have feelings too

Cut me and I’ll bleed

Kill me and I’ll return to dust

Love me and I’ll succeed

Behind these eyes are the scars

From the music and movies that portray me badly

From the people who want to do studies on me

From people telling me I can’t speak madly

Behind these eyes is a beautiful soul

That is not angry just hurt

That is not mean just cautious

That is used to being sad and no mirth

I’m sighing, dying, awaiting your essence, your presence, that inner being, the real you, not the outside you, I mean the the one, the one, that stares through me, that subdue me, with those eyes, those eyes, that tear right through me, that view me, thinking, thinking of that kiss, that overpowering bliss, that I miss, Whenever you disappear, I grab my hair, I tear, I swear, I’m sinking, just thinking, unblinking, waiting for your return, return to my arms, my lips, my thighs, I’m all yours forever, until the end of time,let’s climb, Into new frontiers, Where love perseveres, unmanned hemispheres, Coexisting on love’s frequencies,  In our own indecencies, No one matters anymore, Their glances we ignore, Passion overflows, heating up everyone it touches, Now they too are in love’s clutches
