Unspoken Emotions

From the moment they met

She felt something deep inside

Unaware of the emotions on the rise

Something about him so dignified

The respect that he showed

The words that he spoke

Gave her a feeling of contentment

Something had awoke

Something she buried long ago

Something she once could control

Was now consuming her very mind

Something she thought life had stole

She saw his face, stared in his eyes

She couldn’t stop smiling

She secretly loved when he stared at her

Their time to her was quite beguiling

She wished she could meet him in person

She wished that he was free

But she knew she could not have him

His heart another held the key

She said in herself, I’ll wait on him forever

Maybe, just maybe one day I’ll have him

Show him love he’s never known

Pour love into his every limb

Drench his insides with romance

Soak his heart in affection

Touch his flesh in surreal ways

Give his senses a resurrection

She hides all these things inside

In the littlest chamber of her heart

Not really believing she’ll get the prince

When they’ve not even made a start
